We start by selecting the right composite shade from a wide range of high-quality materials so the finished bonding blends naturally with your smile.
Step 02
The tooth surface is gently etched and coated with bonding liquid to help the composite material adhere securely.
Step 03
Composite is carefully sculpted directly onto the tooth to create the desired shape, then hardened using a high-intensity curing light.
Step 04
Once set, the bonding is refined, shaped and polished so the surface and sheen sit naturally alongside your other teeth.

Composite bonding uses tooth-coloured resin to refine the shape, edges, proportions or surface of a tooth. It is carefully added and sculpted directly onto the tooth.
Composite bonding is generally considered a minimally invasive treatment. The exact approach depends on your teeth, your bite and the result you want, so we will assess suitability first.
Many bonding treatments can be completed in a single visit. More extensive smile makeovers may take longer depending on the number of teeth and the treatment plan.
Longevity varies with your bite, habits, maintenance and the amount of bonding used. We will explain realistic expectations and how to care for your bonding at your consultation.
In many cases composite can be repaired or refreshed directly, which is one of the reasons it can be a practical option for suitable patients.

Dr Vasant is a globally recognised leader in the field of minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry, with over 20 years of experience. He is a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry and holds a Master's degree in Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry. Dr Vasant is also an active member of several prestigious organisations, including the Royal College of Surgeons and both the British and American Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry. As a faculty member at the gIDE Institute in Los Angeles and a visiting guest lecturer at the University of Geneva, he shares his expertise on a global scale. His role as the UK ambassador and global trainer for Invisalign further highlights his leadership in the dental field.
Dr Vasant has founded and developed leading dental clinics in both the north and south of England. He is the founder and clinical director of the Freshdental Clinic and Institute in Central London, where he focuses the majority of his clinical work.
Passionate about advancing dental education and patient care, Dr Vasant has personally trained thousands of dentists worldwide. He established the Freshdental Institute in 2016, which offers a wide range of postgraduate courses aimed at promoting clinical excellence. Among its most influential programmes are the globally recognised "Totally Composite" masterclass and the year-long "Totally Aesthetics" postgraduate diploma course. These programmes have educated over 5,500 dental professionals worldwide. The Institute's state-of-the-art London headquarters is one of Europe's finest postgraduate training centres.
With his diverse background, Dr Vasant connects with his students, offering a flexible and comprehensive approach to integrating his teachings into various professional settings. His teaching style emphasises simplicity, predictability, and efficiency, drawing from his extensive clinical and educational experience.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Vasant has contributed to the dental field through many mainstream media appearances and by co-authoring several dental publications, including his book, "Smile Art".
Outside of dentistry, Dr Vasant enjoys spending time with his family and has a strong passion for football and cricket.
DMD Medical University Varna (2019)
Dr Shyam Chudasama was trained intensively overseas and graduated with First Class honours from the Medical University of Varna, Bulgaria.
Since then he has primarily worked in private dental care in his hometown of Cambridge with sole focus in Minimally Invasive Aesthetic Dentistry.
Shyam has successfully completed all of Dr Vasant’s aesthetic dentistry courses including receiving his Level 7 PGDip in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry.
As well as treating patients in the clinic he is also part of the clinical training team assisting Dr Vasant on all his training courses for dentists worldwide.
Outside of dentistry Shyam was heavily involved in the performing arts growing up and his love for making people smile has fuelled his passion to now create them.
BDS Newcastle University 2017
Dr William McLeish graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Merit in Academic Dentistry.
He has spent time developing his skills in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry with a primary focus on advanced restorative treatments alongside Invisalign and composite bonding. William has successfully completed all of Dr Vasant’s aesthetic dentistry courses. Using the latest developments in digital treatment planning, William is passionate about helping patients to achieve a healthy and long lasting smile.
Alongside seeing patients in the clinic he assists Dr Vasant on his training courses for dentists worldwide.

BDS University of Manchester 2014
Dr Stuart Kilner graduated from the University of Manchester, he has developed his surgical and prosthetic skills working predominantly with dental implants and complex restorative prosthetics.
He has undertaken further training with a Postgraduate Master of Science Degree in Advanced Implantology from the University of Barcelona, Spain. He has spoken in the UK at the Association of Dental Implantology in Munich and Israel on the topic of Dental Implant Therapists.
His special interests lie in rehabilitation, digital integration, CAD/CAM and synthetic bone grafts. Stuart is passionate about providing comfortable treatment and healthy smiles for his patients.
In his spare time he enjoys taking it easy or planning trips – the latest one a charity ocean row from Ibiza to Barcelona.

Dr Nermin Hayek is a Professional Orthodontist at Freshdental Clinic, passionate about creating healthy, confident, and natural-looking smiles.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from King’s College London and completed advanced orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Hospital.
She holds the Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, reflecting her dedication to excellence in orthodontic care.

Dr Stefan Ciapryna specialises in advanced endodontic treatments, including complex root canal therapies and microscopic endodontic surgery, applying the latest techniques to deliver precise and minimally invasive care.
In addition to his expertise in endodontics, Dr Ciapryna has a special interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, having worked across various practices in London and the South of England. He frequently handles restorative and prosthodontic cases, rehabilitating full-mouth conditions and providing high-quality aesthetic treatments. His experience also extends to maxillofacial surgery, sedation dentistry, and paediatric care, showcasing his versatility and commitment to comprehensive patient care.
Hygienist
Mehak is an overseas qualified dentist as well as a GDC registered Dental Hygiene Therapist. She has 4 years of clinical and teaching experience in general dentistry including restorative dentistry and periodontal hygiene procedures. Mehak went on to further her post-graduate knowledge by clearing her MFDS examination by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Having worked internationally in dentistry Dr Mehak values the importance of effective communication, empathy and making patients feel at ease. She is especially skilled at managing anxious children and strives to create a calm and welcoming environment. She takes the time to explain each step of the procedure in a way that is understandable and reassuring. Her approach to managing anxious patients has been effective in ensuring her patients feel at ease during their dental visits.
