A dental assessment helps clarify what is suitable, what the treatment can achieve and what care may be needed afterwards.
Freshdental is a platinum provider of Invisalign, which means we treat 60 or more people every six months in order to maintain our platinum status.
Firstly, we’ll take a digital scan of your teeth using our state of the art digital scanner, which means no messy, uncomfortable impressions and ensures an accurate image of your teeth.
You’ll then receive an individual treatment plan video which shows how your final smile will look.
Invisalign technicians will create a series of custom-made aligners from clear plastic. You’ll wear an aligner for two weeks at a time for a minimum of 22 hours per day, then replace it with the next one in the series until the treatment is complete.
During the treatment, we’ll see you for regular checks to ensure that the aligners are working well. We recommend you wear a post-treatment retainer whenever possible to keep your straightened teeth in their new position.

No. Suitability depends on the complexity of tooth movements and your bite. Some cases may be better managed with another orthodontic approach.
Follow the wear schedule provided by your clinician. Aligners need consistent wear to achieve the planned movements; removing them too often may affect progress.
Aligners are generally removed for meals. Follow the instructions provided and clean your teeth before putting them back in.
Retainers are commonly recommended after active orthodontic treatment because teeth can move over time. Your clinician will explain the appropriate retention plan.

As a faculty member at the gIDE Institute in Los Angeles and a visiting guest lecturer at the University of Geneva, he shares his expertise on a global scale. His role as the UK ambassador and global trainer for Invisalign further highlights his leadership in the dental field.
Dr Vasant has founded and developed leading dental clinics in both the north and south of England. He is the founder and clinical director of the Freshdental Clinic and Institute in Central London, where he focuses the majority of his clinical work.
Passionate about advancing dental education and patient care, Dr Vasant has personally trained thousands of dentists worldwide. He established the Freshdental Institute in 2016, which offers a wide range of postgraduate courses aimed at promoting clinical excellence. Dr Shyam Chudasama was trained intensively overseas and graduated with First Class honours from the Medical University of Varna, Bulgaria.
Since then he has primarily worked in private dental care in his hometown of Cambridge with sole focus in Minimally Invasive Aesthetic Dentistry.
Shyam has successfully completed all of Dr Vasant’s aesthetic dentistry courses including receiving his Level 7 PGDip in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry.
As well as treating patients in the clinic he is also part of the clinical training team assisting Dr Vasant on all his training courses for dentists worldwide.
Outside of dentistry Shyam was heavily involved in the performing arts growing up and his love for making people smile has fuelled his passion to now create them.

Dr William McLeish graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Merit in Academic Dentistry.
He has spent time developing his skills in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry with a primary focus on advanced restorative treatments alongside Invisalign and composite bonding. William has successfully completed all of Dr Vasant’s aesthetic dentistry courses. Using the latest developments in digital treatment planning, William is passionate about helping patients to achieve a healthy and long lasting smile.
Alongside seeing patients in the clinic he assists Dr Vasant on his training courses for dentists worldwide.

Dr Stuart Kilner graduated from the University of Manchester, he has developed his surgical and prosthetic skills working predominantly with dental implants and complex restorative prosthetics.
He has undertaken further training with a Postgraduate Master of Science Degree in Advanced Implantology from the University of Barcelona, Spain. He has spoken in the UK at the Association of Dental Implantology in Munich and Israel on the topic of Dental Implant Therapists.
His special interests lie in rehabilitation, digital integration, CAD/CAM and synthetic bone grafts. Stuart is passionate about providing comfortable treatment and healthy smiles for his patients.
In his spare time he enjoys taking it easy or planning trips – the latest one a charity ocean row from Ibiza to Barcelona.

Hygienist
Mehak is an overseas qualified dentist as well as a GDC registered Dental Hygiene Therapist. She has 4 years of clinical and teaching experience in general dentistry including restorative dentistry and periodontal hygiene procedures. Mehak went on to further her post-graduate knowledge by clearing her MFDS examination by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Having worked internationally in dentistry Dr Mehak values the importance of effective communication, empathy and making patients feel at ease. She is especially skilled at managing anxious children and strives to create a calm and welcoming environment. She takes the time to explain each step of the procedure in a way that is understandable and reassuring. Her approach to managing anxious patients has been effective in ensuring her patients feel at ease during their dental visits.
